Zangara’s exhibition will go ahead as a solo show, and will be inaugurated by Dr Lillo Teodoro Guarneri of the Italian Cultural Institute in Sydney.

Zangara is a renowned artist, born in Palermo in 1943, where his father was also an artist.

He works in the MADI style, which focuses on the creation of geometric works which are unrestricted by society or sentiment.

The exhibition opens tonight at Conny Dietzschold Gallery in Darlinghurst, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
