The first goal came in just the third minute from Filippo Terracciano. Then Milan exploded, scoring four more times in just eight minutes between the 23rd and 31st minute.
Noah Okafor netted a brace (his second in a row after the one against Liverpool), Christian Comotto converted a penalty he earned himself with a cheeky chip and Samuel Chukwueze added one to the score with a left-footed strike.
In the second half, Milan manager Massimiliano Allegri replaced all 11 players. Just one minute in, Rafael Leao scored the sixth goal, followed by strikes from Samuele Ricci, Yunus Musah and another from Leao, who headed in to seal the final 9-0 scoreline.

While the match wasn’t particularly significant given the opposition, it still offered a few interesting takeaways. Notably, the 17-year-old Comotto started in a playmaker role and didn’t look out of place, showing great potential and strong personality.
Milan has a verbal agreement with Spezia for his loan, but before proceeding, they’ll need to resolve the transfer situation with Ardon Jashari. Okafor, too, may have complicated the club’s plans: initially intended for sale, his brace might convince Milan to keep him as a backup in attack.
Another positive sign was the performance of Alex Jimenez, who was unstoppable on the left wing in the 4-3-3 formation Allegri used in the first half. It was a shift from the more cautious 3-5-2 employed against Arsenal and Liverpool, where the tougher opposition prompted a more defensive setup.
Upon their return to Italy, scheduled for tomorrow, Allegri will give the players a few days off. Training will resume on Wednesday, August 5 at Milanello, when new star arrival Luka Modric will join the squad and meet his new teammates for the first time.
