The home side had more than double the possession (68 per cent) however chances were roughly equal (12 for Bari, ten for Como).

Como took the lead after 18 minutes when Gabrielloni got on the end of a cross with his thigh, sending it cross goal for Iaonnou to finish off with an outstretched leg after getting ahead of his marker.

Bari gifted Como and two-goal lead in the 26th minute with a slack pass from Folorunsho that was intercepted by Cutrone.

The striker drove forward with the ball and punished Bari’s mistake with a low and hard shot from the edge of the D that went into the bottom left corner.

Three minutes after halftime the home side halved the deficit thanks to a looping header from Cheddira, who got on the end of a back-post cross by Morachioli.

The game opened up with both sides creating chances, albeit Bari with more.

Bari left it late, but dramatically got their leveller in the 92nd minute thanks to Di Cesare, who got on the end of another ball by Morachioli.

The centre back was left with enough time and space in the box that he was able to take a touch before coolly slotting it past Gomis.

The goal was originally called offside, however VAR came to Bari’s rescue and allowed them to enjoy a delayed celebration.

Bari are now six points behind Genoa, who are currently in an automatic promotion spot, with five games to go.
