Possession was roughly even as Ternana created nine chances to Bari’s 11.
The visitors took the lead in first half added time when Valerio Di Cesare’s acrobatic volley from a corner left Antony Iannarilli with little chance to make a save.
Giacomo Ricci doubled their lead six minutes after the break with a shot on the turn that seemed to have caught Iannarilli and two Ternana defenders off guard.
Giuseppe Sibilli put the final nail in Ternana’s coffin in the 64th minute with a deflected shot.
Congratulations to Bari commiserations to Ternana.
