In the show, which debuted in Umbria's Spoleto two years ago in November and was staged in New York at the Beacon Theater, Bellucci is accompanied by the Wordless Music Orchestra as she runs through the late opera diva's recollections of her modest early years in New York, war years in Athens, her coronation as opera's leading light, and the scandals and personal travails that ensued.

Bellucci's performance of Maria Callas: Letters and Memoirs, directed by Tom Volf, was hailed by Kors at the party in the Carlyle Hotel.

Umbria-born Bellucci, 58, is a former model and one of Italy's best known actresses.

She began her career as a fashion model, modelling for Dolce & Gabbana and Dior, before making a transition to Italian films and later American and French films.

Famous for her roles in such movies as Bram Stoker's Dracula (1992), the French thriller The Apartment (1996), Malena (2000), Under Suspicion (2000) and Brotherhood of the Wolf (2001), in 2015, at 50, she became the oldest Bond girl ever in the James Bond film franchise, playing Lucia Sciarra in Spectre.

In 2021 she was honoured with Stella Della Mole Award for Artistic Innovation at 39th Torino Film Festival considering her lifetime achievements.
