Brescia’s Jakub Labojko looked dangerous early on, drilling a long-range effort straight at Micai.

Cosenza’s Massimo Zilli had a golden opportunity when a Brescia defender blocked a cross, only to deflect it right into his path.

His first-time attempt was well saved by Andrenacci who got down low in time.

At the start of the second half, Brescia began amping up the pressure on Cosenza’s goal while the away team always looked dangerous on the counter.

Ten minutes after the break, Adryan scored the opener for Brescia with a deft touch from Bisoli’s pass into him that would gently take the ball past Micai.

Five minutes after that Brescia went up 2-0 when Cistana headed in Labojko’s cross after a short corner was taken.

Cosenza made things interesting in the 89th minute when Tommaso D’Orazio got on the end of Ivan Delic’s cross and headed it in.

It proved to be no more than a consolation, however, as Brescia would win 2-1 and move up to 15th.

Cosenza remain in the relegation playoff zone.
