Alessandro and Anna meet by chance in a restaurant, after both being stood up by their dates.

In the beginning, Alessandro can’t stand Anna, who he considers to be intrusive and unattractive.

But throughout a long evening, which includes laughter, energised dancing and late-night bathing, the two get to know each other better and learn something more about themselves.
