The simple yet effective idea was warmly appreciated by those who took part, and is certainly one to be repeated in the years to come, strengthening the sense of community and friendship that has always defined the Club.
The lunch was held in the Michelini Room and welcomed around 70 people, gathered in an atmosphere of great cheer and togetherness.
One of the most anticipated moments of the day was the arrival of Santa Claus, cheerfully portrayed by Club Director Dino Zonta, who brought smiles and applause from everyone present.
The idea of uniting the two sections to celebrate Christmas came from Bocce players Ann Fioravanti and Antonietta Ruscio, along with Marconi Choir member Maddalena Ietri.
Together, the three organisers took great care of every detail of the event, contributing decisively to its overall success.
Representing Club Marconi were President Morris Licata, Vice Presidents Sam Noiosi and Roberto Carniato, Directors Antonio Paragalli, Gaetano Zangari, Angelo Ruisi and Giovanna Pellegrino, as well as former Director Sam Vaccaro.
In his address, Noiosi warmly thanked those present and the committees of both sections for their commitment and spirit of collaboration.
Musical entertainment was provided by Michael Riviera, whose repertoire successfully engaged the audience, encouraging many to take to the dance floor with enthusiasm.
One of the most moving moments of the day was the presence of Caterina Mauro who, despite being 100 years old, danced tirelessly, even joining in a lively tarantella.
The organisers brought the day to a close in fine style, gifting everyone with the traditional Christmas panettone and, for some, a bottle of wine personalised with the Club Marconi label, leaving all participants with a special memory of a truly successful celebration.
