“The agreement reached in Dubai takes into account all the most relevant aspects of the Paris agreement and the profoundly different requests from the various states, which nevertheless acknowledge a common ground and a common goal under the guidance of science,” said Pichetto.
“For this reason, Italy considers the compromise reached to be balanced and acceptable for this historical phase, which is characterised by strong international tensions that are weighing on the transition process,” he continued.
“Italy, within the framework of the European commitment, has been committed and determined to the last to achieve the best possible result,” concluded the minister.
