Three minutes later, Francesco Pio Esposito’s first-time effort from outside the box made it 2-0.
In the 34th minute, Marcus Thuram extended the lead for Inter with a shot from outside the box that found the bottom corner.
Six minutes after the break, Thuram had his brace when he headed in Frattesi’s cross from close range.
Venezia grabbed a consolation in the 65th minute when Richie Sagrado’s shot took a deflection off Carlos Augusto and looped over Josep Martinez in the Inter goal.
Ange-Yoan Bonny completed the demolition with a volley that found the top-right corner.
Next up for Inter will be either Roma or Torino.
