The Committee made the decision after careful consideration of a number of requests received by interested parties residing outside of Australia.
The previous deadline was set for Saturday, August 31, 2019.
In order to ensure the broadest participation of the interested parties and considering the summer break in the northern hemisphere, the deadline for the submission of entries is postponed to midnight on Tuesday, October 1, 2019 (Rome time).
The theme of the competition remains as “the Italian contribution to human progress”, with essays to be of a maximum 2000 words.
For the full prize rules, visit the Committee’s website or the Da Vinci Global Prize Facebook, or alternatively, send an email to the Committee.
