The Nerazzurri were lethal at both ends of the pitch and completely outclassed their mid-table hosts at the Mapei Stadium.

The opening goal came early in the 11th minute, when defender Yann Bisseck seized on a perfect set-piece delivery from Federico Dimarco and powered a header into the net to give Inter the lead.

The visitors doubled their advantage in the 28th minute as Marcus Thuram finished a well-worked counterattack—the goal again assisted by Dimarco.

Inter continued to turn the screw after halftime. Lautaro Martínez—once again proving why he leads the scoring charts—half volleyed in his 14th Serie A goal of the season in the 50th minute.

Just three minutes later Manuel Akanji added a fourth with a powerful header from another Dimarco delivery—the Italian reaching a hattrick of assists.

In stoppage time, Luis Henrique capped a devastating Inter performance with the fifth goal, drilling home a volley that rocketed into the back of the net from the inside corner of the box.

The emphatic result keeps Inter well clear at the top of the Serie A standings, eight points above their nearest rivals AC Milan who have a game in hand.

It was a complete display from Cristian Chivu’s side, who now look every bit the favourites for the Scudetto as the season reaches its business end.
