The event brought together tourism professionals, international operators and representatives from leading Australian and New Zealand media outlets, offering targeted meetings alongside a busy program of networking opportunities.
The European Travel Commission (ETC) was the main sponsor of the 2026 edition. The Italian Government Tourist Board (ENIT) office in Sydney was represented by Emanuele Attanasio, who attended the event also on behalf of ETC in his role as Vice President of the ETC Australia Chapter.
Attanasio took part in 22 one-on-one meetings with some of the most influential media outlets present at the event.
Italy was presented as a model of high-quality tourism, attentive to environmental sustainability and local communities.
It was showcased alongside other leading European destinations such as France, Switzerland, Monaco, Austria, Malta, Ireland, Spain and Portugal, within a coordinated effort to promote the continent.
The 2026 edition recorded more than 450 participants, including over 200 leading media representatives from Australia and New Zealand and 170 global tourism brands, ranging from destinations and airlines to tour operators, cruise companies and hospitality groups.
