The Italian event will celebrate its 22nd anniversary this year.
Stallholder applications are open until Monday, June 17, for the event which will be held on Sunday, August 18 along Great North Road, Five Dock from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.
There are places for not-for-profit community stalls, Great North Road business stalls, food stalls, food vans, merchandise stalls and wine stalls.
Get in quick because early bird applications have already been made.
Ferragosto is the City of Canada Bay’s largest annual event.
Last year it attracted a bumper crowd of close to 110,000 visitors to Five Dock – a suburb with strong Italian links.
The festival presents the best of Italian culture, entertainment and cooking with more than 300 retailers and food and merchandise stalls offering delicious street eats and handcrafted goods.
Last year, Cremeria De Luca held a popular “blind tasting” gelato competition, and Club Five Dock’s spaghetti eating contest was also a popular event.
There will be spectacular dance and music performances across five stages, along with free amusement rides.
There will be children’s activities, fun competitions, fashion shows, and dazzling displays of Italian vehicles including Mini Fiats, Ducati bikes, Alfa Romeos plus more.
