The decision comes after successfully introducing the scheme in the United States less than a year ago as an alternative payment method.
The Maranello-based company said it will also extend cryptocurrency transactions to other countries in Ferrari’s international dealership network (in which crypto is legal) by the end of 2024.
Ferrari said it is cooperating with various companies active in the cryptocurrency payment sector to ensure transaction safety.
The majority of the carmaker’s European dealers are in the process of adopting the new payment scheme in addition to traditional systems, Ferrari said.
