The suggestion seeks to replace their much-hyped MMA fight with a battle of the intellect between two of the world’s smartest tech innovators.
“I have accepted the idea of a challenge, but I’d like to propose a variation, let’s not have a physical face-off but an intellectual one,” said Mayor Dario Nardella.
“Instead of having them beat each other up, left’s get them to wrestle ideas.
“They are two geniuses, and I expect genius ideas, grandiose ones.
“I propose Piazza della Signoria, the heart of the Renaissance.”
