Rugani was handed a suspended six-month prison term and a 2000-euro fine.
Furthermore, the Ajax defender’s driving licence was suspended while his car, a Maserati, was confiscated.
The former Juventus player failed an alcohol test in July 2023 after an accident on the outskirts of Turin in which no one was hurt.
