The hosts got off to a brilliant start after scoring almost immediately thanks to a Gaetano Masucci cross that found Ettore Gliozzi who swung at the ball and got it to loop over the Frosinone goalkeeper.
The league leaders drew level in the 32nd minute when Luca Garritano’s well-wide shot on goal hit the foot of centre back Adrian Rus, catching Nicolas off guard.
Frosinone took the lead seven minutes after the break when Gennaro Borrelli’s header was helped into the goal by Nicolas, who was well behind it but somehow pushed it in himself.
Twenty-five minutes later Borrelli turned provider for Giuseppe Caso with a reverse through ball that the winger put away into the middle of the goal while Nicolas moved to his right.
Pisa are just outside the playoff zone in ninth but are on equal points with Ascoli who are eighth.
