Juventus trailed 5-2 from the first leg in Istanbul, but took the return clash to extra-time thanks to goals from Manuel Locatelli, Federico Gatti and Weston McKennie.

Locatelli put Juve ahead eight minutes before the break when he converted a penalty awarded for a reckless challenge in the box.

Two minutes after the break and Juve were down a man when Lloyd Kelly was sent off for landing on Baris Yilmaz with his studs.

Despite being a man down, Gatti made it 5-4 on aggregate with a tap-in at the back post before Weston McKennie levelled the score in the 82nd minute with a header from an almost identical position.

But 10-man Juve were finally brought to their knees in Turin thanks to Victor Osimhen and Barıs Alper Yılmaz strikes in extra time for Galatasaray’s 7-5 aggregate triumph.
