Yann Bisseck got Inter off to a perfect start with an early goal into the near post, shooting from inside the corner of the box.
Lautaro Martinez doubled his side’s advantage shortly before halftime, using his body to protect the ball from two Genoa players before blasting it into the back of the net with his left foot.

Vitinha pulled one back for Genoa midway through the second half after squeezing his way through two defenders and rounding Inter goalkeeper Yann Sommer.
Inter are back at the summit of Serie A’s table while Genoa are 16th, two points clear of the drop.
