The following day, he’ll begin an intense series of appointments and engagements which will see him meet with Victorian legal and political authorities.

During the visit, the ambassador and his wife will have breakfast with Victorian Governor John Davis McCaughey.

He will also meet with Melbourne Archbishop Frank Little.

The ambassador will then head to the Italian Institute of Culture (IIC) to meet members of the Italian community in Melbourne.

On Saturday, March 15, he will visit the IIC and the Institute of Foreign Trade (ICE) headquarters, and will attend a press conference at the Italian Consulate during the evening.

The ambassador and his wife will also participate in the celebrations for the fourth anniversary of the Casa d’Abruzzo in Epping, and will be available to meet in person.

The following Sunday, the ambassador will visit the Gualtiero Vaccari aged care residence and will meet with the Circolo Pensionati Italiani di Essendon to celebrate the group’s 10th anniversary.

On Monday, March 17, the ambassador will continue his official appointments, before heading to Canberra the following morning.
