RAW is a crowd funded international organisation that spotlights independent talent in visual art, film, fashion and accessories, design, music, performance art, beauty, crafts, tech, and photography.

The RAW mission is “for artists, by artists”.

“We believe that we are stronger together than we are apart,” RAW founder and CEO Heidi Luerra said.

“By joining together we can do more to share the creative culture of our generation.

“We think that every independent artist deserves the opportunity to be seen, heard and loved.”

Featured performer de Martino is a dancer, instructor and choreographer who began studying oriental dance in 2011, in Italy.

During her study period she was lucky enough to dance alongside some of the best national and international teachers, including Sandy D’Ali, Saad Ismail, Gamal Seif, Yasminn Nammu, Evelina Papazova, Tito Seif and many others.

In 2014, de Martino met Jillina Carlano, producer and artistic director of Bellydancer Superstar in Los Angeles, a meeting which lead to the improvement of de Martino’s skills.

In 2015, de Martino became a belly dancing teacher.

In 2017, she moved to Sydney to continue teaching and performing.

De Martino has described this life-step as “the dream of her life”.

She is currently a student at the Australian College of Dance, undertaking a Cert IV in dance teaching, while continuing to teach belly dancing to beginners and kids.

As a performer, de Martino has shows every weekend in some of the most important clubs and restaurants in Sydney.

In 2018, de Martino made her theatre debut in the Italo-Australian comedy Io, Mammeta E Tu which toured to Wollongong, Newcastle and Griffith.
