Italian couple with 14 children welcome second set of twins in a year

Italian migrant Maria Lipari has given birth to her second set of twins in a year.

Maria gave birth to the twins at the Queen Victoria Hospital.

Hailing from Reggio Calabria, Maria and her husband Domenico migrated to Australia 11 years ago.

The family reside in Bowden, South Australia.

Twins Pietro and Veronica are the couple’s 13^th and 14^th children.

One of their baby girls passed away in Italy, while the other children are all in good health.

They are: Antonio, 16; Vincenzo, 14; Concetta, 13; Teresa, 12; Rocco, 11; Domenico, 5; Immacolata, 4; Lucia, 3; Anna, 2; Elisabetta and Gesù, 12 months; and the recent arrivals, Pietro and Veronica.

The first five children were born in Italy, while the remaining eight were born in Australia.
