Italian Civil Service Minister Marianna Madia on Thursday signed two decrees approving 5,590 immediate job hires, with 2,313 more to follow after new competitive exams.
The first group of recruits will be hired within Italy’s various police forces and the fire brigade.
The second group will be given opportunities within Italy’s ministries, pension agency INPS and inland revenue agency Agenzia delle Entrate.
The competitive exams will be carried out by the end of 2019, while the rest of the recruitments will take place as soon as possible, ministry sources said.
