The government claims the changes will allow Italy to “stay on track” and “request the fourth instalment in the coming days,” European Affairs Minister Raffaele Fitto has said.
The revised targets ‘will lead to the request for the entire fourth instalment, without envisaging a reduction in funding,” Fitto said at a news conference after the task force meeting.
The fourth instalment should amount to 16 billion euros.
