Italy is working on its eighth arms package to Ukraine, Deputy PM and Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani told Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on Monday.

His announcement came on the sidelines of the EU Foreign Affairs Council in Kyiv.
Tajani said Italy is ready to help Ukraine in protecting its infrastructure next winter and is working on the eighth package of weapons to be sent to Kyiv.
Tajani also guaranteed Italy’s concrete support in the Ukrainian path to EU membership through the support of its institutions, such as the Guardia di Finanza tax police.
