On December 4, the first lady will travel to the Naval Air Station (NAS) Sigonella.
During the morning, as part of the initiative Joining Forces to support the loved ones of military personnel and veterans, Jill Biden will meet with military families and give a speech at the NAS base.
Subsequently, later in the morning, the first lady will travel to Messina to visit Gesso, the hometown of her grandparents.
On Wednesday afternoon, Jill Biden will take off from NAS Sigonella to fly to Abu Dhabi, in the United Arab Emirates.
