Against a mid-table Sassuolo side that struggled to create meaningful chances, Juventus controlled large portions of the game and punished their hosts with clinical finishing in the second half.
The breakthrough came in the 16th minute when Sassuolo defender Tarik Muharemović inadvertently turned Pierre Kalulu’s cross into his own net, giving Juventus an early lead and setting the tone for the match.
Despite controlling possession and probing regularly, Juventus went into the break only 1–0 ahead, with Sassuolo’s defence keeping them at bay amid several saved efforts.
The second half saw Juventus step up a gear. In the 62nd minute, Jonathan David—under pressure after a recent penalty miss—played a clever pass that allowed Fabio Miretti to run through on goal, find the net and double the advantage, igniting celebrations among the travelling supporters.

Just seconds later, David capitalised on a poor Sassuolo pass to race into the area, round the keeper and fire into an empty net to make it 3–0 and seal the victory.
Juventus finished the match in control, limiting Sassuolo to few clear opportunities and defending resolutely when called upon.
The win moves Juventus into fourth place in the Serie A standings, boosting their confidence as they prepare for the second half of the season.
Sassuolo, meanwhile, remain in 11th place, left to regroup after a night where their defence was repeatedly tested.
