After Juventus had taken a first-half lead, the hosts seized control in the second period with a vibrant attacking display that leaves the Italian side with a mountain to climb ahead of the return leg.
Galatasaray struck first in the 15th minute when midfield creator Gabriel Sara drilled a low finish into the corner to give the home side the early advantage.
Juventus responded quickly, and Teun Koopmeiners turned the game around with a brilliant brace before half-time—first converting a rebound after the keeper parried Pierre Kalulu’s header, then firing in a superb long-range strike to put Juve 2–1 up at the break.
But the second half belonged entirely to Galatasaray. Within minutes of the restart, Noa Lang levelled with a tap-in after a slick move down the right, and the tide had fully turned.
Galatasaray then took the lead when Davinson Sánchez got something on a cross in the 60th minute.
Juventus then suffered a further blow when Juan Cabal received a second yellow card in the 67th minute, leaving the visitors a man light at a critical point.
Lang struck again in the 75th to make it 4–2 with a calm one-on-one finish after a defensive error. In the 86th minute, Sacha Boey capped the impressive turnaround with a fierce drive across the keeper to make it 5–2.
The result now leaves Juventus with an uphill battle to overturn a three-goal deficit when the tie returns to Turin, complicating their quest to reach the Champions League Round of 16.
