Juventus took the lead in the 23rd minute after Weston Mckennie played a low ball into the penalty area that was turned in by Udinese centre-back Matteo Palma for an own goal.
In the 53rd minute, Kenan Yildiz went close to doubling the lead, but his curling shot went wide.
In the 68th minute, substitute Manuel Locatelli scored from the spot after VAR awarded Juve a penalty for a foul by Palma—who was having a night to forget.
