The gala raised $86,111.44, with the full amount donated to the ACRF to fund equipment for research into childhood brain cancer.
The contribution aims to support the development of more effective treatments and advance a global shift towards more personalised, precise and preventive cancer care, improving outcomes for children affected by the disease.
“This result reflects the voluntary efforts of many members and supporters of the Order, who contributed to organising the event and fundraising,” said Sam Restifa, a member of the Order.
The initiative highlights the organisation’s ongoing commitment to community service.
It also demonstrates how collaboration between organisations, volunteers and the broader community can provide meaningful support for medical research and offer renewed hope for children facing brain cancer.
