Possession was roughly equal with Como creating 12 chances to Ternana’s nine.
It was the visitors who went ahead in the 74th minute when Antonio Raimondo got a light touch on an already goal-bound through ball from Niklas Pyyhtia.
It took just nine minutes for Como to find the leveller when Odenthal got a head to Moutir Chajia’s cross.
Odenthal doubled his saviour status deep into added time when he chested down a chipped pass into the box by Ben Kone, before volleying the ball into the top corner.
The win brings Como up to ninth while Ternana remain on just one point.
