Lazio went ahead in the 12th minute thanks to a foul in the box. Immobile stepped up and sent the keeper the wrong way with a shot into the bottom-left corner.
Nine minutes before half time saw Roberto Gagliardini get on the end of light touch from Giorgos Kyriakopolous in the box and shoot into an almost-empty net.
