The hosts had 63 per cent possession and created 21 opportunities to Lazio’s seven—only two of which were on target.
It was the visitors who broke the deadlock in first-half stoppage time, however, as Pedro’s deflected shot from an angle left Juve keeper Michele Di Gregorio with little chance.

Gustav Isaksen doubled the Romans’ advantage in the 47th minute with a clinical strike after being played through on goal by Danilo Cataldi.
Twelve minutes later, Juventus had a lifeline through Weston McKennie’s header from close range.
Just when it was looking as though Lazio were leaving Turin with all three points, Kalulu snatched one of them in the 96th minute with another close-range header for the hosts.
The draw leaves Juventus in fourth place on the Serie A table, three points behind champions Napoli and 12 behind leaders Inter.
Lazio are eighth and at this point will need a lot to go their way even to qualify for the Conference League.
