The hosts pressed from the outset—eager to impose themselves early and test Bologna’s back line—but the Rossoblù defended with discipline while looking dangerous on the break.
However, Lazio struck first in the 38th minute through a close-range finish by Gustav Isaksen, silencing the home crowd and forcing the hosts to chase the game.
It would take Bologna just two minutes to equalise as Jens Odgaard tapped into an empty net after Nadir Zortea’s shot hit the post and rebounded straight to him.
The visitors went close to taking the lead just before the break, but Juan Maranda’s lobbed effort was cleared on the line.
In the second half, Lazio were utterly dominant and constantly peppering the Bologna goal. Despite their effort, they just couldn’t get past Bologna keeper Federico Ravaglia, who pulled off save after save.
Things were made more difficult for Lazio when, in the 79th minute, Maria Gila was shown a second yellow card for a reckless challenge on Santiago Castro.
The draw leaves Lazio languishing in midtable, while Bologna sit fifth after 14 matches.
