The home team dominated the ball with 60 per cent possession, creating seven chances to Lecce’s three (only two of which, both goals, were on target).

Fiorentina had the lead in the 3rd minute thanks to a Nicolas Gonzalez header from a corner.

The home side doubled their lead in the 25th minute thanks to Alfred Duncan’s diving header from Arthur Melo’s cross.

In the second half, the visitors took advantage of their only two shots on target.

Four minutes after the break, Hamza Rafia made it 2-1 when he side-footed an absolute bullet into the far post from the corner of the box.

In the 76th minute, Nikola Krstovic equalised for Lecce after coming off the bench when he headed in Lameck Banda’s cross from point-blank range.
