More than 200 people participated in the event, and enjoyed themselves dancing to music by DJ Chuck.
Vice-president of the association, Giuseppe Lombardo, welcomed and thanked everyone for coming, as well as the event’s sponsors.
President, Lucia Cascio, then welcomed the consultant for the region of Campania, Antonio Bamonte, reminding everyone that he had been a supporter of the Trinacria Association since its first years of formation.
The president then thanked everyone present and praised the committee for having worked with such determination in preparation of the event, which had the scope of allowing members and friends of the club to meet, as well as conserve the beautiful traditions of the motherland.
During the evening there was a parade of masks, and a prize was awarded to the best mask, which belonged to Lidia Romeo.
Dancing concluded a beautiful evening.
The club has nominated its next appointment for April 14, for a chestnut-collecting trip, followed by Mother’s Day in May.
