“The two heads of government discussed the main international and European issues ahead of the extraordinary European Council on February 1, focusing in particular on military and financial support for Ukraine,” the statement said.
“Pime Minister Meloni also presented the priorities of the Italian G7 Presidency,” the statement added.
Italy holds the duty presidency of the G7 Group in 2024.
