It said the page, which has been used by some 30,000 men to post the snaps, violated its sexual exploitation policy.

“We have removed the Facebook Group Mia Moglie for violating our policies against the sexual exploitation of adults,” a Meta spokesperson said.

“We do not allow content that threatens or promotes sexual violence, sexual abuse or sexual exploitation on our platforms,” he added.

“If we become aware of content that incites or advocates rape, we may disable the groups and accounts that post it and share this information with law enforcement.”
