Pisa managed just one shot on target, out of ten, for the entire match.

The match’s lone goal came in as early as the 8th minute thanks to a glancing header by Luca Strizzolo, who cooly put away a whipped in freekick from out wide by Luca Tremolada.

The away side came close to equalising soon after when Adam Nagy’s shot went just wide of the left post.

The one shot on target from Pisa came from a bullet header that called for a quick reflex save from Modena goalkeeper Riccardo Gagno.

Modena went close to doubling their lead in the 67th minute after a shot by Fabio Ponsi hit the crossbar.

Despite the loss, Pisa remain in fifth place with 42 points.
