It was the visitors who broke the deadlock ten minutes after the break when Ivan Ilic cooly slotted a clever pass by Duvan Zapata into the bottom corner.
Monza needed just ten minutes to respond, and respond they did when Andrea Colpani picked the pocket of a dawdling Gvidas Gineitis before running in on goal and hitting it low and past the keeper.
The result leaves both teams sitting comfortably in midtable; Monza sit ninth with Torino two places below them in eleventh.
