The lone goal came from Napoli’s only shot on target for the entire match. Despite having 60 per cent possession, the visitors created only three shots in total, compared to an equally inaccurate Union Berlin who created nine with eight off target.
Napoli’s goal came in the 65th minute when Giacomo Raspadori finished off some excellent work out wide by Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, who took on his man and put the ball on a platter for his teammate.
The Italian side are currently second in the group, three points behind Real Madrid.
