“When you make these proclamations, you have to be careful,” said Gravina on Serie A President Lorenzo Casini’s call for greater autonomy along the lines of the English top tier Monday.
“The Premier League has 21 shares, 20 from the clubs and the 21st is up to the federation.
“So, I don’t wish such a situation on Serie A, there is no basis for such activity.
“We have to focus on activities that are good for football.
“This proposal is mass distraction.
“We must focus on the needs of football.
“Central is not the reform of the championships but a reform that makes us feel good together.
“Football must find sustainability, give itself rules.”
