“On the NRRP I think that here too we have to take into account the fact that there isn’t any delay,” she told the Senate.

“We were the first to present our plans and the only difficulties are for the objectives which we inherited, like the stadium in Florence, where criticism came a bit late.

“We don’t want to squander the resources for projects that are not achievable, we want to deploy them, and we will see that in the coming hours.

“Yet again some of the opposition’s hopes of rooting against the fact that the instalments would be paid to Italy have been betrayed.”
