The day after his elimination at the ATP 500, three-time slam winner Sinner took to Instagram to describe his state of mind, saying, “Not every day goes the way you want, this is part of the game.”
“Thanks to the tournament and to all my fans for the support, congratulations to Bublik,” the post continued.
“Now, I’m taking a few days of rest before Wimbledon.
“A week to reset and prepare. See you soon,” concluded the two-time Aussie and one-time US champ.
Sinner, 23, who had not lost in over a year, fell 3-6 6-3 6-4 to Bublik, 28, in two hours of play at the German event.
