The two latest victims were men aged 86 and 85.
NSW has been hit hardest by the outbreak, recording 18 deaths from coronavirus, including six in the past two days.
Executive Director NSW Health Protection Dr Jeremy McAnulty said the total number of new cases in the state was decreasing.
There were 57 new coronavirus infections in NSW as of Sunday evening, taking the state’s total to 2637.
“The numbers we are seeing in the last few days have been really hopeful,” Dr McAnulty said.
“It seems that the actions we are taking in terms of case finding and contact tracing have been working.”
Dr McAnulty said it was “pleasing” to see a drop in the latest infections figures in NSW, but noted there were fewer tests done at the weekend.
There have been more than 300,000 screenings for the virus done across the country.
NSW Health said it was encouraging doctors and clinics to expand their coronavirus testing in regions where there was evidence of local transmissions.
The following areas were pinpointed as locations where concerning levels of local transmission were occurring: Broken Hill, Lake Macquarie, Manning, Waverley, Woollahra, Ryde, Macquarie Park, Dee Why, Manly, Nowra and South Nowra, Byron and Port Macquarie.
NSW Police Commissioner Mick Fuller said this morning that 97 international flights have arrived into Sydney with 4500 people in quarantine in Sydney hotels.
Wednesday will be the end of the quarantine for the first group, with 200 people allowed to return home.
