The visitors took the lead early when Fabio Lucioni’s shot appeared to be blocked on the line, but upon further review had just crossed over.
Reggiana equalised in the 63rd minute when Eric Lanini finished Filippo Romagna’s header to the back post.
It took just eight minutes for Palermo to regain their lead with Jacobo Segre heading in Francesco Di Mariano’s looping cross.
Palermo sealed the points in added time when Edoardo Soleri got ahead of his marker to head in Nicola Valente’s front-post cross.
