The home side had slightly less of the ball and created ten chances to Pisa’s seven.
Adrian Benedyczak gave Parma the lead in the 25th minute with a first-time side-footed volley from Enrico Del Prato’s cross.
Mattia Valoti equalised for Pisa ten minutes later when he reacted quickly in the box to finish from close range.
Dennis Man made it 2-1 for Parma in the 81st minute thanks to a classy flick on from Gabriele Charpentier to find him in the box. Man took a touch and sent the ball through Pisa keeper Nicolas’ legs.
In the 92nd minute, Simone Canestrelli scored Pisa’s second with a header into the far post to make it 2-2.
Just when the match was looking done and dusted, Del Prato scored the winner for Parma in the 95th minute when he picked up the crumbs clumsily spilled by Nicolas to finish from close range, with the ball going in off the crossbar.
Parma stay top, eight points above second-placed Cremonese.
Pisa sit 12th, four points outside the promotion playoff zone.
