Dennis Man opened the scoring for the visitors in the 41st minute with a penalty awarded for handball. Sampdoria keeper Filip Stankovic chose the right way and got a glove to the ball, but it wasn’t enough to keep it out.

Three minutes later, Valentin Mihaila doubled their lead by sprinting into the box and finishing a low ball in by Man.

Nahuel Estevez made it 3-0 in the 69th minute when he sent Gabriel Charpentier’s cutback whizzing into the bottom corner.

After Venezia’s loss against Cosenza, Parma end match week 21 six points ahead of second-placed Como, improving upon their former four-point buffer.
