Cremonese had more of the ball and created 11 chances to Parma’s six.
The visitors took the lead in the 54th minute when Brazilian midfielder Hernani launched a rocket from distance that moved in the air, leaving Mouhamadou Sarr with no chance.
Cremonese equalised in the 64th minute when Michele Castagnetti’s free kick took a deflection from the wall, wrongfooting Leandro Chichizola who was unable to recover in time.
Two minutes later saw Parma score the winner through Dennis Man, who chipped the keeper after a clever through ball from Simon Sohm put him through on goal.
Parma remain top of the table.
